I recently upgraded my laptop from Vista to Windows 7, but unfortunately it removed all of my program files from the Vista installation (including MS Office 07). It did, however store the old installation in a separate folder on the hard drive, so I figured I'd just copy & paste the Microsoft Office folder from "C:\Windows.old\Program Files (x86)\" to "C:\Program Files (x86)\", and also from "C:\Windows.old\Program Files\" to "C:\Program Files\". However, whenever I try to run any of them, this error message pops up:
Quote:
The operating system is not presently configured to run this application.

I have a feeling it has something to do with the registry, but I don't know what. Anyone have suggestions?
