We have Office 2109 installed, retail version.
Motherboard failed, so we installed new (used) motherboard, same manufacturer, different spec. Win 10 remains activated, however office says product no activated, when we attempt to do so it fails. Normally you can transfer to a new PC provided you uninstall from old PC, but thts not possible if the motherboard fails. What is the situation? Surely the whole reason for having the retail version is so you can re-activate, assuming its on only 1 PC? Advice please |
