Blank box at startup

I'm running newest version of Office for Mac 16.73. When I start any of the apps a blank, all white box first appears before the app starts. Why is this happening and how can I get rid of it? I've use Office for Mac since 2017 and this has never happened before. I've attach 2 screenshots, Word & Outlook.
