I bought MS Office Home and Student 2019.
I think it provides support in general till 2023 then drops security in 2024. If this is the case when should I do something and in your opinion what would that be? Libre office seemed cluttered and too much. Google did not accommodate file explorer.. Should I do Home and Student, do nothing or?? Money is a factor at 83. Thanks |

You may want to simply do a Microsoft 365 subscription. (Microsoft wants you to do this, as shown by pricing and support.)
I still use Office 2010 and it works fine. |

It is unlikely there would be any significant security issues remaining 7 years after the product was released and, in any event, those targeting MS products are far more likely to be doing so for current versions, not long-superseded ones. Moreover, the security updates provided for Office concern only weaknesses that can be exploited in the product itself; they are largely unrelated to your operating system's security, for which you need decent anti-virus software. There are plenty of users still running Office 2010 without issues.
