Cropped screenshots - lose crop in email
Help! I am urgently trying to send email to a lot of people about a message they need to answer tomorrow when a new system goes live, but am stuck! I do a screen shot of the message, crop it in Word, but when I paste it into email it goes back to original full screen version. I do not appear to have any crop option in Outlook... I cannot download software as this is work set up. It appears to be Windows 5.2 (??) and MS Office 2003. Can anyone help? Much appreciated, Nadder |

Cropping an image does not remove part of the image, it merely hides it. Perhaps this will suit:
Take a screenshot of the message and paste it into a Word document Crop it Take a screenshot of the Word document and paste into a new Word document. Does that do what you need? (If you crop it, it will still "uncrop", but at least all they'll see is the rest of the blank Word document, not the rest of the message.) |

Cropped screenshots - lose crop in email
Nadder,
Do you have the 'Paint' application? You might find it in the "Accessories" folder in your start menu. If you do, you can paste the screen shot in 'Paint' and perform a 'File' > 'Save As' and save the picture as a '.jpg' file. Example = myscreenshot.jpg. You can then insert the 'myscreenshot.jpg' file in the email message. Hope this Helps lamstrat |
