Default Teams Record Meeting Option Not Present

I have Microsoft Office Professional 2021 on my laptop. However, in Teams there is no option to record the meeting - please see below. (I went into Calendar, then selected New Meeting, and set it up that way, so it's not just an ordinary video call).

This is the free version of Teams with the aforementioned package i.e. no monthly subscription. However, when I had a look on the upgrade webpage it didn't say anything about recording for free or paid versions: Microsoft Teams Upgrade | Microsoft Teams - can anyone shed some light on this for me?
