Thanks for responding. Unfortunately, the way MS 365 is sold at places like Best Buy is to pay for the first year of the subscription. The receipt comes with the code to activate it.
I never activated it and decided after a couple days that I wanted nothing to do with MS 365, but, because the retailer (e.g. Best Buy) can't determined whether the subscription was activated, they won't refund the unused subscription. I do realize this may come down to "buyer beware", meaning I may have to eat the first year subscription. Very frustrating. |
