@Firefox1701 - If you are able to copy the problem files then try this to fool Windows: -
1. Copy the files to a USB stick then restart the computer. 2. Then try to copy the files back from the USB stick into the original location and you should get a warning about 'A file with this name already exists - Do you want to replace it? Click on 'Yes'. 3. I'm hoping that Windows will allow this to happen and the new file will have different permissions that will fool Windows into then allowing you to delete it. Doesn't cost anything to try.
