Need Office with access my PC and laptop best way ?
Hi.
I am running Msoft Office Professional Plus 2010, I need access and only pro gave it back then, paid £400 ish. Plus was a 2PC Licence. Other progs allow install on a single users devices, not hit them twice the fee ! Its for one user, me ! and I also ran it on a laptop to save having to sit at PC until 2am when I could finish off in lounge and avoid sitting on hard chair for 14 hrs, such causes feet swelling. However I cant see how I can get latest Office inc Access for such. Perhaps I settle for 2016 or something. Would that be cheaper ? I will be win10 so is 2016 stable on win 10 ? What version should I get ? I AM NOT GOING SUBS, ABSOLUTELY NO WAY. the work of the devil, will leave me with no money for elec and gas as its going up 50%. buying outright I see cost me £5 a month since 2014. I run so many progs that subs on all would mean I have to cease my entire PC life. No point in going win10 if Msoft cause me to end my PC existence. Such attitude by a prog company assumes you use just their prog. I run 150 progs, all sorts, might not use one for many months. I am NOT a business, income half of when salaried, pension linked to a frozen salary publicity stunt by Govt, so need prices 8 yrs older than the year I am in. I am a modeller and historian and keep my model database on access with images as well as an aircraft database with images. So whats going on out there, I see prices from £19 to £800 for Office. Totally baffled, some cannot be pucka ok ones, read reviews and see mention of keys rejected by Msoft when registering. Last time I bought genuine on ebay and it was pirate ! got money back then bought from an education source. Can I buy Pro single PC and install to pc then also to laptop ? If laptop not connected to internet will that work ? If I then connect it will that still work ? I rarely use laptop but if I have any money left I might manage to get one but they are £1500 for a calibrated screen with separate graphics card for CAD so not sure I will ever manage to. I need it more so as to get away from the feet swelling causing chair and upright seating for 14 hrs. I am about to turn a win7 into win10 pc, I have little money, but cant find a way on office without using up the PC hardware money before I even start. I need excel word outlook and access. SSD's have just cost £750 and that was unplanned but 2 spinny ones have started dying so forced my hand. That was money for my progs gone there. I might if nothing happens get £100 left over at end of month due to the salary freeze pension nasty. DBenz |

You can buy Access stand-alone at £150 per licence if that is of interest. You don't have to buy the whole Office suite or subscribe to Office 365. See: -
