I need to find my last PP project without having PP to look in.
Last Thursday, my computer crashed. I have a backup of the files but right now, my work laptop still is dead. I worked on a project on PP in December, 2021, and, I think, in January, 2022. I need to find the PP file. I did a search in File Explorer for pptx and ppt files. I didn't see what I wanted. I asked File Explorer to search for files modified this month or last month. I still didn't see what I am looking for. Is there any place in my hard drive backup where I can find PowerPoint's list of recent files without having PowerPoint available? Since I can look at the backup on my own network folder but don't have PowerPoint to see it there, I'd really like to figure out where the file went to. I'm sure I saved it multiple times. Any suggestions would be appreciated, please. I don't want to have to start all over again. Thanks. |

C:\Users\<UserName>\OneDrive
C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Powe rPoint The second would be the Autorecovery location by default. These locations may not be Indexed by Windows keeping the PPT files from showing quickly. UserName may be a shortened version of the actual user name. |
