Open dialog unsafe?
I have a problem whereby users who use a volume licensed copy of office are able to access the network topology when using the open dialog.
The servers currently run Server 2003 and Office is 2007. The users I want to implement the restriction on, connect via a terminal server and will have a program set to start upon connection. From within this program they can export to an application, being word or excel as set within Crystal. I have locked down the desktop, etc using GPO's as the curent structure has been known to crash the startup program and leave the user with a working desktop something that now I have taken over set to resolve immediately. The Save as function has restricted browsing set which stops network traversing very well but this doesnt work with the Open dialog for some reason. Thanks in advance |
