Can we disable all the stuff on the Word & Excel header bars?
I'm not sure why the folks at Microsoft decided it would be good to use up every millimeter of space on the window bar with "active content" but it's wasting my day.
What I do need 80 times per day is to be able to quickly grab a window and move it from wherever Windows 10 randomly opened it to where I am working. In a production environment we have multiple monitors and many windows open. Unless I maximize the app window, there are precious small inactive spots to grab. How do I disable at least the "active title" drop-down? |

Post a screenshot highlighting the items that you don't want to see and then we will be clearer as to what you are referring to. This will help others to help you.

For Word, at least, Jay Freedman's SaveViewMultiLoc utility in his The Macro Zone - Jay Freedman, MVP site could be of help. It will remember where you want your Word documents.
