Access to an Office 2010 Excel file over network
Hello,
My query is related to MS Excel 2010; whenever I try to open an excel file on a "computer over the network", it takes 1.5 to 2 mins to open the file. And, after the file is opened, I cannot edit the fields unless I click on "Enable Editing". It is obvious that I have to click "Enable Editing" to make any changes, and this takes 1.5 to 2 mins again to process the file and allow me to edit the fields. So, overall, I have to spend 4 mins (maximum) to open a simple excel file. Can anyone help me in solving this "over time consumption"? -- Lohith. |

Do you have any mapped network drives that can't be accessed? Unmapping unnecessary network drives may help.
