User-defined places for Word "save as" not found
I cannot get my Office 2000 Word documents to "Save As" in my registry UserDefinedPlaces. This is the "Openfind" location in the registry: \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\9.0\C ommon\Open Find\Places\UserDefinedPlaces\
The message states that the location "could not be found ... ." Same thing happens when I try to open a document stored in one of the user defined locations. These are network locations. I can access these locations via the explorer when using this computer. And when I use other computers on the network, I can access these locations using the "Save As" or "Open" operation. When I go to regedit, I have edited the keys to be the same as the edited keys on the other computers where the "Open" and "Save As" operations work. And the locations on this computer do work when using "Open" or "Save As." All ideas greatly appreciated. Last edited by Words; 01-29-2021 at 08:51 PM. |
