Office 2019 without Microsoft account
Seeing the repeated notices about Office 2010 support ending has me thinking.
I have made it this far without using a Microsoft account so any possible upgrade must be with assurance that Office 2019 can be installed and used using only my personal account that I use to access my laptop. On another forum, I saw apparent solutions using custom scripts that were beyond my comprehension. I need a simple fix or I will continue using Office 2010. Thank you, Mike |

Is the following correct?
Something contained in an email from PCWorld can make the choice moot:
Should I buy Office 2019? Office 2019 is Microsoft's effort to appease users who would prefer to stick to tradition and buy standalone software. If that's you, go ahead. But Microsoft isn't making it easy or appealing. You will get limited choices, no services, no security, no support, and no updates. There's also no guarantee that Microsoft will follow up Office 2019 with another standalone version, so enjoy it while you can. If this is true, and my needs are met by 2010, then there's no reason for me to upgrade. Mike |
