Is there a post-2003 Office edition offering the option of classic menus instead of ribbon ?
Also, is there such an edition offering the same extreme customization of menus, toolbars and contextual menus Office 2003 has ? |

No. In any event, The Ribbon can be customised via File|Options|Customize Ribbon. Buttons can also be added to the Quick Access Toolbar.
When Word 2007 was released, various third-party addins were produced to recreate the appearance and functionality of the older Word toolbars. Some of these work with later versions as well.

That's what I feared.
It can be done, though, as Soft Maker Office demonstrates. Not only can you switch at any time between ribbon and classic menus, but you can have both at the same time, through a hamburger menu which gives access to classic menus ! |
