Default Change 64 bit installation to 32 bit

I need to change a 64 bit installation of Office to 32 bit

It is a valid / legal installation but I don't have the activation key. I am doing this for a friend
What is the correct method to do this?

Thanks in advance

Default

1. Uninstall the 64-bit application
2. Install the 32-bit application, supplying the Product Key when prompted.
