Default Does Office 365 automatically erase 2019?

Hi I have been using MS Office 2019 installed on my PC. My college offers 365 for free and I was really curious as that version has collaboration features and dictation. I installed it on my PC but I think the 2019 version is gone. Was it erased automatically?

Installing Office 365 would indeed result in the Office 2019 installation being erased; the subscription and single-install editions of Office cannot co-exist on the same PC.

Hi. I launched the installation of 365. No warning of already existing version come up. I proceeded with the installation. After the installation finished, when I opened any office program that 365 version would show up. When I went into my start I searched if there exist two to entry is for word, but there was only one entry for each office program. When I open any of them, the 365 version opens. I went to check my c drive program files and I don't seem to find any folder with the 2019.

Which is entirely consistent with what I posted: you can have Office 365 or Office 2019, not both.
