Print Settings Revert to Default
This happens in Excel, Word, Publisher and sometimes in Power Point
Using Pro 2007 suite. I own a printing business and I 99.9% sure that is not an issue with my printers/printing preferences of the printers themselves. What is extremely annoying is when I have a document open and print a test page with say the following non-default setting selected: Print Range: "current page" & "collate" selected It prints as intended, I do not close the document, then I go to print say 500 sets. At this point, my selections revert to the program's defaults (print range: "all" & "collate" is deselected), I end up with 500 sets of worthless prints. Basically, if I forget to customize my setting each and every time I enter the print dialogue box I not get that I require. Obviously this can be an expensive mistake. Yes, I should be checking as I go but when running several jobs at a time, it is easy to forget. (There are some PDF readers that do this too). I have been suffering with this for over a decade and finally got fed up today...lol...How do I stop the madness? Thanks! |
