Default Best way to attach a Word document to Outlook Reply message

Hi,

I often attach DOCX to e-mail messages using Word and Outlook.
If I create a new message, it is easy: File/Share/Email/Send as attachment.
But if I want to attach it to an existing message, i.e. reply message, it is harder.
Either I save it and then use Attach function from Outlook email, or to be faster:
-I save the message to some Temp folder,

-I click Save As again and in the dialogue box I right click the file and use Copy.

-I switch to Outlook and paste it to Outlook email (reply) message.

What is your fastest option?

Best

Save the document.
In Outlook create your reply and attach the document.

Cool Attach in Outlook

Thank you, but I know that. It is the standard and slow way. My way (copying file in save as dialog box) is faster.
Does anyone have a faster way? That is the question?

I believe the document must be saved to send.
The only quicker way, with a document already saved, would be to have a macro in Outlook that would create the reply and open a dialog for you to search for the document to attach.

That hardly seems worth the effort.

Go back to Word and use the usual File/Share/Email/Send as attachment. This creates a second email with the document attached. You can then drag that attachment into the email you were already editing/replying to. The second email can then be deleted.

This method doesn't require the document to be saved anywhere on the disk first (other than in the email itself).
