Transfer my Office licence
Hi all , I have just purchased a new Acer laptop windows 10 , but want to transfer or use the licence key from my old laptop office 2010 before factory resetting it ... and to activate the new software pre-installed on the new one ...Can this be done ? I have office 10 pro which includes access.... Kind regards |

Unless your licence is for an OEM installation, you should be able to simply install whichever version of Office you're using on the new laptop. There is no transfer mechanism. If the MS Activation database suspects a license violation, you might be required to activate Office by telephone.
PS: Your profile says you're using Office 2013, but your post refers to Office 2010. Please clarify.
