Default Setting reminders for Outlook birthdays

I'm running Outlook 2007 under Windows 7. I've entered birthdays (and anniversaries) into details of my Contacts. They immediately show up in Calendar as expected. I want to set reminders on my birthdays different than the default. If for example, I have a birthday on 7/4 and set the reminder to 1 week, at what date & time will the reminder occur? If it occurs on midnight of 7/11 can I somehow adjust to a different time of day? There seems to be very little, if any, documentation on how the time of reminders work for all day events. Thanks for your help.
Pete

Default Setting reminders in Outlook 2007

Pete,

Please follow the instructions below on how to set reminders for events in Outlook 2007.

SET A PERSONAL REMINDER USING AN EVENT OR AN APPOINTMENT WITH NO TIME DURATION

1. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Appointment.

2. In the Subject box, type your reminder text.

3. Do one of the following:
a. To create an event, select the All day event check box.
b. To create an appointment with zero time duration, select the time you
want the appointment to start, and then change the end time to be
the same as the start time.

4. Select the Reminder check box, and then enter the amount of time before
the appointment when you want the reminder to occur.

5. Click Save and Close.

NOTE: In Calendar, you can quickly create any new calendar item by selecting a block of time, right-clicking, and then clicking New calendar item on the shortcut menu.

Hope this helps.

A. Trivedi
