I wanted a boxed version of this or a download version. Don't have good internet access so 365 would be a problem. Now it emerges that it is going to be a click to run. What would hapen if the computer crashes? Would I have to buy it again?

For Office 2019, the client apps only have a Click-to-Run installer - the server apps have the traditional MSI installer. No, you wouldn't have to buy it again in the event of a crash - unless you've also lost both your MS account details and the product key.

I went through a bad spell with windows 7 and I had to reformat (now I use norton ghost as a backup). I was questioned by Microsoft before they allowed me to validate it.
