no internet inter connect for URL in document

i have a win7 Ultimate machine running office 2010 suite within a document i have several web URL's and when i click to go the a web page i receive a message that my machine is blocking the connection or if you will the opening of the web page. my question is what setting do i need to change to allow the opening of the URL when i click it in the document.
