ReActivated 2016
New PC, and just reactivated Office 2016 after removing it from my initial [old] PC. Currently, my documents seem to open and function in good order, but i'm curious why MS Office 2016 program title is not listed under "M" in the alphabetical series of working programs.
Excel is listed under the "E" series, Powerpoint is iisted under the "P" series, and Word is listed under the "W" series. Each of those programs open correctly when I click on them so I don't see any major problem with the functionality of Office 2016. However, when I first installed Office 2016 on my previous PC, MS Office was listed under the "M" series and by clicking on that MS Office title, a dropdown provided the list of the sub-Office programs (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, etc). With this new PC, I never actually Re-installed MS Office 2016. It was here on this new PC listed as MS Office Tools - even though MS Office 2016 program was not part of the new PC package. Am I overthinking this issue or should I have downloaded and re-installed MS Office when I changed PCs - and maybe missed something in the reactivation process along the way? |
