What is the difference between Office 2016 and Office 365 Home?



I have 365 Home but when during registration here at MS OfficeForums I was not able to choose 365 Home as my Office version.

Office 365 is the subscription edition of the current Office version, presently Office 2016. Whereas Office 2016 is essentially static, apart from bug fixes and security updates, Office 365 receives periodic updates to its functionality as well.
