I have Windows 10, Office 2016 Professional Dutch.

Re 2: after fixing the icon issue by telling Windows which are the default apps for opening Office files (through Settings --> Apps --> Default Apps) I ended up having regained most of the icons, but when I open any office document (either .pptx, .docx, .xlsx, or the like) it opens with the correct Office program, but then it keeps telling me: 'Microsoft [Word/Excel/etc] isn't your default program ...", while in fact it is!
