I am saying this in an effort to be helpful: I am running Office 2010, 64-bit version as is everyone at my office. We can all preview attached Office files in Outlook, but I don't recall that we could when we used Office 2007.

Hi Folks, is there any resolution to this one? I already had the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack installed and I'm on XP.
Any help appreciated, Frank |

AFAIK, Microsoft has not changed its advice that 64-bit Office should only be used where the extra grunt of 64-bit Excel is required, primarily because so many addins do not work in 64-bit mode.
