Question Disable/Modify MOC.exe

When right clicking any office 2003 file (it could be word, powerpoint, excel), I am given the option to "Save as" {see attached screenshot 1}. This option to "Save as" launches MOC.exe which only gives the option to save as various Office 2007 versions (or vice-versa if I right click an office 2007 file) {see attached screenshot 2}.

... This wouldn't be a problem, but I am working in an office environment and one of my users is certain this is the CORRECT way to SAVE a file.

Therefore, can I either modify this prompt to be the same as an Excel "Save as" prompt? OR can I completely remove this option to prevent further confusion?

Thanks in advance,
Cody

Hi, I am not sure what do you mean by modifying this window, but MOC means something like Microsoft Office Compatibility... This feature was installed when you installed Compatibility pack with 2007 version. So if you want to save some document let say in Word 2003 as 2007 format, you can either open it in Word 2003 and use Save as and then chose apropriate format or you can make it quickly by using this option...
My suggestion is to keep it as it is, it't nothing against nothing

Modify meaning to include the same options as an office "Save As" prompt. I would like to have the option simply to save in the same format rather than convert to 2007. OR, I would like the option to remove the right click "Save As" prompt, since IMHO it is misleading

lol, this is nonsence... There is simple question, WHY?
This option gives you quick option to convert the document into 2007 format. That's all. I don't see anything missleading on it
But do as you want...
