Office 2013 Professional Plus (32-bit) Configures Every Time I Start Word
Hi,
I originally had MS Office Professional Plus 2013 32-bit. I then tried to install 2010 Professional Plus 32-bit so that I could develop VBA solutions in both versions. Now Word 2010 is the default and opens without an issue, but when I try to open Word 2013 it tries to configure every time. When I cancel the configuration dialog, Word 2013 will open in compatibility mode. I think I understand that one of these versions has to be the default, but how do I get them to run together without this configuration issue, and how can I open a document in 2013 if 2010 is the default? Thanks, Joe |

When installing multiple Office versions, you should always install the older one first. Try repairing the Office 2013 installation (via Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change > Repair). Then see: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2784668
