Office 2007 Enterprise - saving results in a network error
I have a Windows 10 desktop with Office 2007 Enterprise installed. When I save a file from any of the Office programs except OneNote, I receive an network error message:
"Windows cannot access \\ASUSMAIN\documents2" The error code is 0x80070043. ASUSMAIN is the name of my desktop and I have a small home network with one other computer and do not use a Homegroup. I don't have a folder anywhere on either computer with the title of "documents2". This error only occurs when saving files with Office programs, not with any other program. In addition, when I try to change the path locations for “Save” by clicking “Browse”next to each path then the error immediately appears. I have checked the paths on every Office program and all are legitimate. I have uninstalled Office 2007 with Revo Uninstaller, remove the registry entries that were found and reinstalled the program from the disk, but the error still occurs. I hope someone can offer some help. |
