opening old office files in office 2010
I am using office 2010. I have old office documents from the early 1990s until about 2000 that my office software does not open. How do I open legacy versions of office programs?

You may need to install the relevant converter that Microsoft produced for this, the only current source of which appears to be: http://www.gmayor.com/downloads.htm. In this case, the 'Word 6 converter for Word' may be the one you need.
