can someone please tell me what was the underlying technology used for MSOffice 2007 and whether its the same for Office 2010 ? If not then could someone please tell me what is the underlying technology used for MSOffice 2010 ? please let me know asap.

What do you mean by underlying technology? It's just a software developed with computer programming language.

yes that is xaclty wat i want to know.....the languagues used to develop the software. and whether the same languages were used in office 2010 also

It should be developed mainly with Visual C++, and for sure, they use the same language.

thanks a lot....iam pretty sure they used the same lang too. but then apart from office 2010 being 64 bit is there ne other major technical difference u know bout.
