How do I print out an A5 booklet ?

I need to print something off and make it into a booklet (A5). I've already set it out nd stuff in Microsoft Publisher, but when I print it, it weirdly prints opposite pages, so for example, pages 1 and 30 print on the same pages, 2 and 29, 3 and 28 etc. and after that, it's a pain to put together, and not only that, but every other page, there is a double page of white pages, which I do not know how to remove. anyone got any idea how to fix this ?
