I keep getting a popup saying "Windows has detected an IP address conflict . Another computer on this network has the same IP address as this computer........". But I do not have another computer, unless it counts my hot spot device as another computer. I recently replaced my hotspot device with a new one and it has a different IP number as the old one. How do I resolve this so called conflict?

See: http://compnetworking.about.com/od/t...ge-address.htm
http://www.online-tech-tips.com/comp...lready-in-use/ Given what your user profile says about the antiquated OS you're using (Windows XP), the actual steps are liable to differ.
