Default Error - Microsoft Word has not been installed for the current user. Please run setup

I tried to use this solution from official webpage: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...0%2C5762329043 . Meanwhle Application Data folder is not visible anyway except I put full path in command line of Windows Explorer. I tried to change permissions for Data.dat (I use Windows xp). But when I change folder properties - to set Make visible hidden folders/files and to clear hide extensions.,when I click apply and OK and when check properties again this changes is not saved. So when I right click Data.dat i just see elementary options - no advanced options, no security tab etc. How can I solve this issues? If i delete Data.dat nothing changes and happens. Can I set correct content of data.dat or download from internet? So how to see advanced settings and security of data.dat, how make visible hidden folders permanently?// this question relates to Excell, Access, Power Point

When trying to use right click of folder of Data.dat to make visible hidden folder/files and clear permission -- I do it - but such settings is sated. So when I try do it again it repeat again so I am not able probably to change permissions to solve this issue as it is provided in microsoft online tutorial on it. So what I should do make hidden folders visible at least "temporarily permanent"?

You don't need to make the folders visible to do this, but you do need to make the changes using an account with Administrator privileges. You should be able to navigate to the required folder simply by pasting:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Office\Data\
into the Windows Explorer/File Manager Address bar. You should also ensure no Office applications are running when you edit the file permissions for, or delete, the Data.dat file.

Yes I was able to get to this file just pasting full path to folder in adress line. But right click on the file to don allow to see and edit permissions. There were written that just to delete this file will allow to launch new such configuration file after restart of computer but it did not happen. And my PC have just one account and it is labeled as administrator despite have another name. Maybe I need to put strictly Administrator in appropriate menu to Turn off the pc - I just checked just this account after clicking Change User. Maybe in safe mode I can do something? If not - how to solve it? Reinstall the word or manually edit data.dat but when I open it there is some unknown characters?

I got to Administrator itself account throug the safe mode. But there is just such properties of data.dat (as in early case) as Read-only, hidden, and archive. So archive is marked but checking something else do not change probably nothing. Meanwhile in safe mode with administrator I am able to open Word, excel normally. So I am probably have some tools missed after clearing the account folder. So I need probably edit file manually? Or at least enable administrator account?

When I added guest account and the shifted to it after restart of OS i opened normally microsoft word. So what I need to do to open in my administrator-like account. For example I need to recover about hundreds of my mozilla bookmarks that I can not do even in this case. Maybe I did not told. This situation came after I cleared my current and previous account folder in C:\Documents and Setting directory againts the invisible disk space. For example the folder had in properties about 800 mb but all containing files and folders (maybe I was not able to make visible all folders) took just 80 mb. So in this way after copying this 80 mb to another disk, deleting folder at all, then creating empty folder with the same name and putting back these actual 80 mb I substantially freed my C disk but probably lost some important settings in hidden files.

It would help if you actually followed the instructions on the MS website. They do not say to boot into Safe Mode. Neither do they suggest you will "need to recover about hundreds of my mozilla bookmarks" or that any of your other data will be at risk because of this.

You can access & edit the permissions if you log on as an Administrator; other users may only be able to access but not edit the permissions.

When I managed to log as administrator in safe mode (despite my current account has administrator) I was unable to get permission tab by right click of Data.dat file. All were the same as in earlier case. Despite under administrator account in safe mode as in guest account (I have created) in normal mode, I can freely use Microsoft Word and other office ones. But under current account in safe and normal mode I get the error. So maybe I need manually write this account in Data.dat. There are about dozen lines in this file despite the latina-like text with some strange characters is not understandable. So administrator and guest are allowed to use it so maybe I need to recover some other file so permission capability. I have probably deleted it after cleaning account folder for additional space?

As I have said before, you should not be using Safe Mode for this. Neither can you do it with a guest account.

I tried it in safe mode earlier. I did not try to make visible the hidden files despite i am able to see data.dat by direct input of relevant path of the folder. I have written several times that right click almost is blank except archive, hidden checkers

I think I've wasted enough time on this. You clearly have not paid attention to what the MS website says to do. Thread closed.
