Hi
I've created recently some add-ins for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook using VSTO. There is no problem to install them on standard, desktop versions of Office, but now I'm thinking if there is any chance to use my add-ins for online version. I've found out that Outlook Online has an option for add-ins, but it's pretty weird, they need *.xml file, when I create few files including *.dlls and *.vsto. It would be great if someone could share his experience with add-ins and office online, can I create my own add-in using VSTO and install it for Word Online? (for example in desktop version I got new button which send created file to my own server). |

Hello Rufhs,
I am not sure about creating add-ins for Office Online. However, the best place to check is the MSDN or the Office DEV site. I am sure you would find lot if resources there in order to create your add-ins. All the best |
