With all the configuration changes you've made without first fixing the problem, you're likely to have compounded things. At this point your best solution might be to reinstall Windows and your apps from scratch. Make sure you back up all your data and that you have all your product keys, etc. before you do that, as a fresh install of Windows will wipe out everything on your system.
