Hi,
I just set up a fresh install of my Office 2007 copy. This time I skipped things like Outlook or InfoPatch etc. I've installed only Word, Excel & PowerPoint. When switching computer off I saw 19 updates installing... When I started the system again, I opened the update history it turned out that there were updates for all Office programs applied (incl. Publisher, Access, Outlook etc.), not only those actually installed! Anyone can explain this strange thing to me? What's the point to install patches for apps not actually present on the system? Is it OK to install them? I believe such trash my slow down my system... |
