I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10, and I'm running into trouble using any of the programs from the MS Office 2010 suite. For all of the programs, the say "_______ is trying to recover your information" and than a few seconds later they just stop and close. I have a workaround at the moment, which is to run the programs as admin, but I'd like to figure out what the actual problem is so that I don't have to approve my computer opening every new file. |

Have you tried repairing the Office installation (via Start > Windows Control Panel > Programs > Programs & Features > Microsoft Office (version) > Change)?

Yep I tried that and it didn't work. I eventually just ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Office, which fixed the problem.
