Annoying beep sound

HI

WHEN I OPEN THE 'SAVE AS' BOX TO SAVE A WORD [OR EXCEL OR POWERPOINT] DOCUMENT, EVERYTIME I CLICK ON A FOLDER IN THE 'SAVE AS' BOX, THE SYSTEM GIVES AN ANNOYING BEEP SOUND. CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO TURN OFF THE BEEP SOUND?

I AM USING OFFICE 2003 RUNNING ON WINDOWS VISTA WITH LENOVO'S IDEAPAD LAPTOP.
