Hi: I'm running Windows 7. I bought a headset with a built-in microphone and want to use Skype to make an important international phone call.



The audio with the headset works fine, but the microphone will not record. I've tried everything in the manage devices menu.

I know it's not the headset, because I bought one from Amazon and sent it back because I thought it was defective, so this is a new one (Auvio folding headset with mic).

Does anyone have an idea why my microphone won't work?
