Which version of Office 365 to purchase
I'm confused about which version of Office 365 to purchase these days.
Last year I bought the Office 365 Small Business Premium subscription since I wanted to run the Office software on my Surface Pro 3 without online connectivity. Now the subscription has expired and I don't know if I should pay another $150 a year to renew or look at other options. My requirements: * Run local Office apps on my Surface Pro 3; * Optionally run an Office license on a new desktop machine I plan to build this Fall. I also want a license free in case I buy an SP4 if it's released in the next year (so may need two extra licenses); * I only need Excel, Word, MS Access. I don't care about Skype or Outlook for local apps; * I don't need the online storage (I edit all data on the local computers). However I assume some online storage comes with all options; * I'm not a small business. Here's one of the Microsoft Office product pages for reference. https://products.office.com/en-us/bu...e-365-business I plan to call Microsoft Sales next week to speak to a rep, but wanted to get any ideas from people here first. Also, after I speak to the rep I'll come back here and post the results (so hopefully that will make this thread useful to other people on here looking for similar guidance). |
