Hi all : I might have posted in the wrong section.
I am new at using micorsoft office 2007. I am trying to figure out which of the microsoft office programs if any, that has the basic features as windows paint but can do more. I'm trying to take snapshots and screenshots and edit with microsoft office. My O.S.is windows xp pro 32 bit. Thanks Raner |

You can edit in Word if you like. It doesn't necessarily have more features than paint. All you need to do is take the screen shot. Open Word. Ctrl-V to paste the screen shot. Then click on the screen shot to select it. At the of the word window, on the far right of your ribbon, a section called "Picture Tools" will appear. Right under picture tools will be the "Format" menu. Click it and you will have all the tools needed to edit the picture.
What exactly are you trying to do other than paste/crop/resize your screen shot? |

hey Krawcett:
I just wanted to use a program that I have already installed in my pc. I figured office enterprice should do the job.I was thinking of getting snapshot but its kind a pain to use and using the print screen key is much faster to use, mainly what I wanted to use was the retangel tool that can capture a portion on the screen and then you can edit just the section you captured.I'll give word a try. Thanks for the come back Raner |

Although you don't install new software, I still suggest you try a free image editor.
