I want to import Word and Excel files created in Office 2007 (Home and Student) from a Windows XP SP3 Lenovo laptop to a Windows 8.1 Lenovo laptop running Office 2013 (Home and Student). Does Office 2018 (Home and Student) support this?

Any Office version can read, open and save to the file format used by any previous Office version. Provided the file formats don't change, they can also do the same for later versions and, when they can't, MS usually releases a file format converter to help them do so.
