deleting trial version of office 2013 to install MS Office 2010
I do not want to use the 2013 Office trial version on my new computer which has windows 8.1. Would it be best (less confusing) to uninstall the trial version before installing my old Office Home and Student 2010? I ca not afford to buy the new version at this time.

Definitely; otherwise the trial is liable to remain and having it installed before Office 2010 could cause problems with Office 2010.
