i hit a brick wall with an assignment i'm doing, im allowed to ask online so it's not cheating :P (Office workplaces in general)
11. List the file structure that is utilised for the saving of important company files within your workplace. the assignment is on Word\Excel\office, is this referring to file format...? if so what would be the correct format |

There is no definitive answer. Word documents may be saved in DOC, DOCX or DOCM formats, Excel in XLS, XLSX or XLSM formats. Both may be saved as PDF format. The importance is less relevant than what they store and how they are to be used.
The question asks 'within your workplace'.

Since the question specifies "within your workplace", it's not something anyone here could possibly answer without knowing all the relevant information about your workplace. That said, it seems a rather strange question to be asked for an assignment and the answer to such a question is not something I'd be proffering in a hurry - it's the kind of question someone might ask for nefarious purposes.
Graham has provided you with some common file extensions, but whether that is what the question means by "file structure" is unclear. Since the reference is to "the saving of important company files" it might instead be a reference to servers and folder structures and/or the file structures used for backups. That is something any company might be leery about sharing for security reasons. Perhaps you should clarify the question.
