Exclamation Using Office Premium 2007 Trial with Already Installed Office Home and Student 2007

What I am trying to do:
I have an installed, retail version of Office Home and Student 2007. I would like to try MS Access 2007, and tried a custom installation of just Access from the Office Professional Trial. My operating system is Vista.

The problem:
Unfortunately, I am unable to activate the trial version of Access. The several times that I have tried, the activation screen appears, the progress bar fills half way, then the screen disappears without further messages. However, when I go to use the program I get a message saying the application is disabled. Additionally, when returning to my other office applications (eg Word) I find that I have to reactivate them before using.

If I could somehow dictate a solution to the problem:
I would prefer not to have to uninstall (and then reinstall later) my Home and Student Version if possible. I would also prefer to have free tickets to Disney World...just in case anyone was thinking of throwing some away...

Thank you for your help in advance!

Default Solution

OK all you Microsoft gurus, I think I have discovered a solution to my problem.

Solution:
Unbeknownst to me, my anti-virus software was preventing the activation of the MS Access trial version. I temporarily disabled the software (AVG) and the activation was almost instantaneous. Additionally, it appears that I can use both the trial version of Access 07 and the Home and Student retail version simultaneously on the same computer. However, it's only been about 10 minutes so there's plenty of time for something else to go wrong.

Although the problem is solved for now I am still waiting on those tickets

Best,
SME
