Post Office 2007 Reference Books

Hello,

I am just a beginner in the field of office programs.
I want to learn office 2007 programs (especially; word, excel and powerpoint) from the very beginning.
For this purpose, I did a search to find the most appropriate book for me to start with, and i heard that the "office 2007 for dummies" book is a good one.

Is it the right one for the beginners ?
Do you have any other book suggestions except "office 2007 for dummies" ?

That's a good book for the basics. I recommend getting the newest one called "Office 2007 All-in-One Desk Reference For Dummies." You can find it on amazon for fairly sheap.

There are a lot of books out there. I would recommend going to a bookstore and looking through them individually. I usually go for an intermediate book, even if I am just learning. Most "newbie" books go through the basics of cut, copy, saving, printing, etc. I would say about half of the book is useless for anyone who knows how to use a computer. Your cheapest way would be to check it out at the local library. It is free and you can learn what you need to. If you do want to purchase a book, I would go online once you find a title you like and try to get the best price. Check e-bay for used books.
