Default Can't Uninstall Office 2013 Tools

I never chose to install the tools available as part of Office 2013 (see snapshot). I attempted to change the installation through Programs and Features, and it let's me deselect these tools, but after the uninstall program runs they are still there. They also reappear in Programs and Features no matter how many times I try to uninstall them. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Are you sure the tools are still there, or just their entries in the Office group? Have you tried deleting the 'Office 2013 Tools' folder from:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Microsoft Office 2013?

Yes they are still there when I open them. It's not just the icons in the start menu. Also if I go back to modify the installation through Programs and Features in Windows 7, it will reappear despite numerous attempts to uninstall.

If you delete the entries from the Start folder, they can't continue to be there...

In any event uninstalling them won't save you any disc space unless the installation files aren't on your HDD.
